A 70-year-old Clearwater man was hospitalized following a Tuesday accident just north of Conway Springs.

Roger Lange was taken to Wesley Medical Center following an accident at approximately 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident happened two miles north of Conway Springs when Lange rear ended a Ford Escort being driven by Jennifer Jones of Conway Springs. Jones, 33, and her 14-year-old daughter Hanah were in the Escort but were not hurt. Jones was slowing to make a left-hand turn when Lange apparently drove into the back of the Escort. Both occupants of the Escort were wearing seatbelts.
