Mary Margaret Morgan, 82, of Wichita, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024.
She was born Nov. 17, 1941, to Everett and Dovie Seagraves Cupp in Joplin, Mo. She
graduated from Joplin High School in 1959. She married the love of her life, Harold Dwayne
Morgan, on July 7, 1959, at Joplin Heights Christian Church. She worked as a bookkeeper for
many years. Her church family was very important to her and she sang in the church choir for
several years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morgan; son, Jeffery Morgan; and four
brothers, Doyle, Charles, Wayne and Robert Cupp. Mary is survived by her daughter, Kristy
(Mike) Henderson; son, Terry (Melissa) Morgan; grandchildren, Miranda and Allison Morgan;
daughter-in-law, Kim Morgan; sister, Phyllis Warner; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m.,
Monday, Feb. 12, at Smith Family Mortuary Chapel, 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby. Inurnment will
follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with First Baptist Church, 125 S. Delos,
Haysville, KS 67070.
