With summer just around the corner, it should be no surprise that it is almost opening day for local municipal swimming pools.
The Goddard City Pool, located at 200 S. Main in Goddard, opens Friday at 1 p.m. and will be open 1 to 6 p.m. daily throughout the summer.
Daily admission to the pool is $2, while a punch pass for 20 visits can be purchased for $36. An individual season pass is $70 for city residents and $90 for out-of-city residents, while a family pass is $120 for city residents and $150 for those who live outside the city.

The Cheney Municipal Pool, located at Fifth and Adams in Cheney, opens Saturday at 1 p.m. and will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. daily.
Daily admission to the pool is $3, while a punch card for 20 visits can be purchased for $45 for the first card and $40 for additional cards, and are available to individuals or immediate families of five members or fewer. A family pass is $135 for a family of four, while additional family members can be added for $20.

The Clearwater Aquatic Center, located at 145 N. 4th St. in Clearwater, opens Sunday at 1 p.m. and will be open from 1 to 7 p.m. through June 2. Beginning June 3, the pool will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. on weekdays, 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 1 to 6 p.m. on weekends.
Daily admission to the pool is $3.25, while ages two and under are admitted free. A punch card for 12 visits can be purchased for $35 at Clearwater City Hall and at the pool during pool hours. A single membership is $50, while a family pass is $150 for a family of four. Additional family members can be added for $35.
