No. 3 Clearwater vs. No. 2 Mulvane, 5:45 p.m. Thursday (semifinal)
No. 1 Garden Plain vs. No. 4 Wellington, 7:15 p.m. Thursday (semifinal)
Clearwater 42, Winfield 33 (Tuesday first round)
The No. 3 Indians got 24 points from Brynna Vogel and the defense held the Vikings to 8 points or less in the final three quarters.
Garden Plain 66, Arkansas City 27 (Monday first round)
The Owls, the tournament's top seed, dispatched the Bulldogs with ease, using a 26-4 second quarter to build a 30-point halftime lead. Eight different Owls scored, led by Allie Heimerman (19) and Cassidy Haukap (11).
• Haven Wildcat Classic
No. 5 Cheney (5-5) will play at 6 p.m. Thursday against No. 4 Buhler (5-4). The winner advances to face No. 1 Moundridge (7-2) or No. 8 Nickerson (0-10) at 6 p.m. Friday. The losing teams play at 3 p.m. Friday. The other games include No. 3 Haven (7-3) vs. No. 6 Halstead (4-6) and No. 2 Conway Springs (7-3) vs. No. 7 Kingman (3-6). Final round games are Saturday.
• Glacier's Edge Tournament - Emporia
No. 3 Eisenhower plays No. 6 Emporia at 7 p.m. Thursday. The winner will take on No. 2 Leavenworth or No. 7 Hutchinson at 7:45 p.m. Friday. The losing teams play at 4:45 p.m. Friday. The other matchups include No. 1 Topeka Seaman vs. No. 8 Lawrence and No. 4 Blue Valley vs. No. 5 Derby. Final round games are Saturday.
• Newton Tournament
Kapaun-Mt. Carmel 64, Goddard 30 (Thursday first round)
The Lions lost their opening-round game. They will face the Olathe-Northwest-Andover Central loser at 3 p.m. Friday.
The other first-round matchups include Bishop Miege vs. Garden City and Bishop Carroll vs. Newton. Final round games are Saturday.

• Clearwater wins Roadrunner Classic
Clearwater 52, Mulvane 40 (championship)
The
Indians built an early 8-point lead and extended it to 13 by halftime in the title game at Chaparral's tournament. Johnny Becker scored 18 and Reed VanDeest added 10 to lead Clearwater to the title.
Clearwater 67, Arkansas City 47
The Indians outscored
the Bulldogs in each quarter, building a 10-point halftime lead that they doubled in the second half. Reed VanDeest led all scorers with 24 points, Johnny Becker added 17, and the Indians got scoring from eight different players.
Clearwater 54, Wellington 27
No. 4 Clearwater cruised to an easy 54-27 win over No. Wellington on Wednesday at Roadrunner Classic at Chaparral High School. The Indians will play at 6:30 p.m. Friday against No. 8 Arkansas City, which upset top-seeded Kingman 75-71 in two overtimes on Wednesday. The other side of the bracket starts play on Thursday with No. 2 Mulvane (5-3) vs. No. 7 Belle Plaine (1-7) at 6 p.m. and No. 3 Conway Springs (4-4) vs. No. 6 Chaparral (2-6) at 8 p.m. Thursday. All second-round games are Friday, and the final round is Saturday.
• Eisenhower wins Spring Hill tournament
Eisenhower 66, KC Piper 63 (Friday championship)
The Tigers won the Spring Hill tournament Friday night, hitting 10 of 11 free throws in the final quarter to seal the victory. Brennan Stemple scored 25 points, a season high that included three 3-pointers, and Trevon Evans scored 20 and was 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
Eisenhower 60, Spring Hill 52 (Thursday semifinal)
The Tigers advanced to Friday's title game with an 8-point victory over the host team. Eisenhower will face KC Piper, which entered the tournament at 7-1 like the Tigers, at 8:15 p.m. Friday.
Eisenhower 63, KC East 52 (Tuesday first round)
The Tigers got 34 points from Trevon Evans and overcame a six-point deficit to win their first-round game Tuesday at Spring Hill, located in Johnson County, south of Olathe. Eisenhower will play Spring Hill at 8:15 p.m. Thursday.
• Garden Plain fourth, Cheney fifth at Halstead
Rose Hill 45, Garden Plain 26
The Owls placed fourth at this year's Adolph Rupp invitational following a loss in the third-place game on Saturday. Michael Panek led Garden Plain with 8 points.
Cheney 51, Douglass 50
The Cardinals just edged the league-rival Bulldogs for fifth-place at the Rupp Tournament Cheney trailed 7-0 after the first-quarter and were down 8 at halftime, but pulled to within 1 point at the start of the fourth quarter. Gabe Schomacker scored 24, Cameron Hill had 13 and Ty Patterson added 10.
Andale 52, Garden Plain 25 (Friday semifinal)
The Owls struggled against No. 3 seed Andale in Friday's semifinal game.
Cheney 83, Halstead 73 (Thursday consolation semifinal)
The Cardinals rebounded from a first-round upset to beat the host team. Cheney had five players score in double figures: Gabe Schomacker 25, Cameron Hill 17, Taylor Hageman 15, Ty Patterson 11, Layne Higgins 10. An expected match between Cheney and Haven, the top two seeds, won't happen in the consolation finals - Haven is 0-2 in the tournament and will play for 7th. The Cardinals will play for fifth against Douglass.
Garden Plain 57, Haven 52 (Tuesday first round)
The No. 7 Owls handed ranked Haven its second loss of the season on Monday. Clayton Milford and Michael Panek each scored 14 points. The Owls advance to Friday's semifinal round.
With Cheney's loss, the top two seeds are now in the consolation bracket.
Rose Hill 60, Cheney 49 (Monday first round)
The No. 8 Rockets upset top seed Cheney on Tuesday. The difference was in the second quarter, when Rose HIll outscored the Cardinals 16-7. Cheney Gabe Schomacker scored 27 to lead all scorers.
No. 2 seed Haven lost Monday.
• Ralph Miller Classic - Chanute
Olathe North 58, Goddard 38 (seventh-place game)
The Lions went 0-3 at the Chanute, finishing eighth in the Ralph Miller Classic. Colin Nevil had 14 points to lead Goddard.
Chanute 65, Goddard 45 (consolation semifinal)
Emporia 74, Goddard 43
The Lions, seeded eighth, were overwhelmed by the top seed. Goddard will face host Chanut at 4:45 p.m. Friday. The winner will play either Joplin or Olathe North at 3:45 p.m. Saturday for fifth place; the losing teams will play for seventh at 2 p.m. Saturday in Chanute.
