Evelyn "Pinky" Dewey, 93, retired Learjet employee, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Pinky and her husband, Ted Duane, were crowned the first homecoming king and queen for Cheney High School, where she graduated from in 1948. Pinky and Ted Duane were married until his death in 2014.

Family was very important to her. She loved spending time with her family and siblings. Pinky also loved to watch horse and dog racing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Farrell and Irene Black; husband, Ted Duane; and brother, Darrell. Pinky is survived by her children, Kristi (Ron) Ingram, Kathy Dewey-Ast, Bret Dewey and Daren (Susan) Dewey; siblings, Jeanne, Virginia, Barbara, Donnie, Patsy, Sheri, Sue and David; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Pinky's birthday, Wednesday, April 3, at 10 a.m. at Trinity United Christian Church.
