Gerard E. “Jerry” Struble, 86, of Broken Arrow, Okla., passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024.

Jerry was born Dec. 1, 1937, at Wichita, son of Ralph William Struble and Christina (Steffens) Struble. He graduated from Garden Plain High School in 1956 and served two three-year terms in the Air National Guard. Following his discharge in 1962, Jerry attended Wichita Business College and began working for Boeing Aircraft as an IBM Specialist. He later moved to Ponca City, Okla., and worked for Conoco before moving to Tulsa in 1965 to begin a career with American Airlines. He retired after 30 years.

Jerry was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Broken Arrow, and was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Mary Elizabeth Brown Struble; his parents; and one brother, Thomas Struble.

Jerry is survived by four children, Mike (Rita) Struble, Sheri (Byron) Burke, Karen (Richard) Reinking, and Greg Struble; three stepchildren, David (Charlotte) Brown, Dan (Jackie) Brown, and Deb Brown; two brothers, Victor (Karen) Struble, and Kenneth (Mary) Struble; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Memorial graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in St. Anthony Cemetery, Garden Plain.
