LaVonne “Bonnie” (Alberts) Portz, age 88, passed away, Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, and funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, both at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Haysville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Portz; parents, Albert and Ethel Alberts; and sister, Marilyn Smith. Survivors include her children, Dr. Stephen (Susie) Portz of Las Vegas, Nev., Jennifer (Danny) Mitchell of Haysville, and Lisa (Eric) Grampp of Liberty, Mo.; grandchildren, Nick (Michelle), CJ (Drea), Carli (Nate), Stevi (Ray), Amanda (Brandon), Jake (Jordan), Ashley, Nick (Sienna), Alex, and Lauren (CJ); 15 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Gary (Sherry) Alberts and Alan (Karen) Alberts all of Hildreth, Neb.
