UPDATED:

Leslie D. Finstad, Sr., of Conway Springs, age 77, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Orvetta “Diane” (Staley) Finstad; father, Raymond Finstad; mother, June Nighswonger-Smith; step-father, J.A. Smith; and grandson, Braydin Ray Campbell.

Survivors include his children, Thomas (Dana) Finstad of Conway Spring, Christina Ellis of Oviedo, Fla., Leslie Finstad, Jr. of Cheney, Lesa Emond of Wichita, Lance (Melanie) Emond of Wichita, Lane (Sheila) Emond of Westfield, Wisc., and Leslie (Teresa) Emond of Montello, Wisc.; sister, Sharon (Barry) Rantin of Hutchinson; step-brother, Cliff (Kathryn) Smith of Conway Springs; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
