HAYSVILLE – Haysville Parents as Teachers will host a big truck night next Thursday in the Grand Lane parking lot, at 134 N. Stewart Ave.

The free event will run 6-7:30 p.m.

Parking will be available across the street at the West Haysville Baptist Church.

In addition, PAT will host a barbecue dinner.

The cost is $7 per person, and includes a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and chips.

Puppet Ladies to put on their ‘caps’

GODDARD – Next week, the Goddard Puppet Ladies will present their ladies production, featuring the classic children’s book, “Caps For Sale.” The book tells the tale of a peddler, some monkeys, and their monkey business.

The show will be at 9:30 a.m. next Thursday. The shows are free, but registration is required due to limited space and high demand. The show will be at the Goddard Public Library.
