Mary Ann (Coslett) Love, retired bookkeeper and farmwife, age 84, of Clearwater, passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023.
Visitation will be noon-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 5, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at First Christian Church, Clearwater.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her loving, social nature, which made her the center of a wide group of family and friends. She was born on Monday, Sept. 12, 1938, in Harper, to her parents, Edward D. and M. Nadine (Maltbie) Coslett, as the first of their three children.
After graduating from Conway Springs High School, Mary Ann became a farmwife and then went to Wichita Business School. She became a bookkeeper and started working at the Clearwater CO-OP.
Mary Ann deeply treasured her 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Nadine (Maltbie) Coslett; companion, Floyd “Irish” Light; son, Don Love; daughter, Patti Pfannenstiel; and grandson, Darrell Love.
Mary Ann is Survived by her daughter, Carol (Tim) Fisher of Colwich; son, Ed (Debbie) Love of Conway Springs; brother, Phil (Mary) Coslett of Sedgwick; grandchildren, Elaina (Jon) Hoyle, Zachary (Ashley) Fisher, Darise (Russ) Atwater, Kristy (Jackie) McCoplin, Annette (Jeff) Luckett, Donnie (Courtney) Love, Danny Love, David (Lindsay) Love, Angela (Anthony) Aragon; numerous great-grandchildren.
