Orvetta “Diane” Finstad, age 74, seamstress, of Conway Springs, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

No service is planned. Orvetta “Diane” was born Thursday, Aug. 18, 1949, to Orville and Wilma (Merritt) Staley in Lockwood, Mo. She was united in marriage to Leslie Duane Finstad, Sr., on Dec. 28, 1987, in Conway Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Wilma (Merritt) Staley; brothers, Donald Staley and Gary Staley; sisters, Cheryl Staley and Deborah Staley; and great-grandson, Braydin Ray Campbell.

Survivors include her husband, Les Finstad, Sr.; children, Lesa Emond of Wichita, Lance (Melanie) Emond of Wichita, Lane (Sheila) Emond of Westfield, Wisc., Leslie (Theresa) Emond of Montello, Wisc., Thomas (Dana) Finstad of Conway Springs, Christina Ellis of Oviedo, Fla., and Les Finstad Jr., of Cheney; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
