Glen L. Mourning, 82, passed away on Aug. 7, 2024. He was born in Mound Valley, Kan., to John and Elsie Mourning on Sept. 3, 1941.

Glen married Joyce Wolke on Oct. 12, 1968, and together they had three children, Lori, Vicki and Eric. Glen was a machinist at Blanchat Machine in Wichita for 42 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

He wasis preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie Mourning, and brother, Donald Mourning.

Glen is survived by his wife, Joyce Mourning; daughters, Lori (Russ) Becker, and Vicki (Lynn) Lexow; son, Eric (Dana) Mourning; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren with one on the way; and sister, Daisy (Gene) White.

The recitation of the Holy Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Garden Plain, and was followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and St. Anthony’s Pro-Life Outreach.
