Gary Dean Martin of Clearwater, age 77, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025.

A rosary was prayed at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, and funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, both at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 11000 W. Southwest Blvd., Wichita, which is in Schulte.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony “Tony” and Hilda (Mainz) Martin; brother, Eugene (Gene) Martin; and sisters, Shirley Simon and Arlene Hefley.

He is survived by loving wife, Judy (Simon) Martin of Clearwater; children, Jason (Jennifer) Martin and Ryan (Alesha) Martin of Clearwater, Kelley (Todd) Beers of Peyton, Colo., and Tyler (Katrina) Martin of Wichita; sister, Joyce Keith of Wichita; and grandchildren, Madison Beers, Grant Martin, Haley Beers, Tate Martin, Mia Martin, Kynlee Martin, Hunter Martin, Kyndall Beers, Hadley Martin, Kennedy Martin, memorials may be made to St. Peter’s Catholic School or St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 11000 Southwest Blvd., Wichita, KS 67215.
