Joan (Beil) Hillmann, age 78, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, at her home.

Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, 200 S. Tracy, Clearwater.

She was born Aug. 2, 1947, in Dodge City, the daughter of Louis A. and Imogene (Evans) Beil. A longtime resident of Clearwater, she was a secretary and co-owner of HPCI and J&H Storage, LLC.

She was an avid sports fan – NASCAR (Dale Earnhardt), KU Jayhawks, and KC Chiefs were among her favorites.

On April 28, 1973, she married Horst Michael Hillmann in Maize.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Horst Hillmann of Clearwater; son, Shawn (Christina) Houston of Clearwater; stepson, Michael Hillmann of Joplin, Mo.; stepdaughter, Michelle Snyder of Grove, Okla.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Carl) Conley of Clearwater; and sister-in-law, Veldiva Beil of Spearville, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Vinita Imogene (Evans) Beil, and siblings, Kenneth Beil, Louis Beil and Vinita Beil.
