William “Tex” S. Titterington II, age 68, ret. Lt. Col, U.S. Army from Clearwater, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023.

Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Thursday, June 1, with family present 5:30-7 p.m., at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel, Clearwater. Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 2, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 842 N. Tyler, Wichita.

William “Tex” Stanley Titterington II was born on Saturday, Dec. 18, 1954, to his parents, William Stanley Titterington and Beverly Elaine (Sander) Titterington. He was united in marriage to Michelle Marie Bowerman on Oct 20, 1979, in Milan, Mich. Tex served 30+ years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves, retiring in 2007.

He was preceeded in death by his father, William S. Titterington. Survivors include his wife, Michelle; son, Sean (Lindsey) Titterington of Clearwater; daughters, Sherri (Josh) Thomas of Clearwater, and Kristina Titterington of Wichita; mother, Beverly Titterington of Wichita; brothers, Patrick (Virginia) Titterington of Marshall, Texas, and Michael (Diane) Titterington of Tonganoxie, Kan.; sister, Judy Rae (Steve) Koegeboehn of Wichita; grandchildren, William, Madison, and Bryson Thomas, and Alexis, Kristopher, Chloe, Tyson and Katelyn Titterington.
