Mary Jane Haden received her eternal reward as she passed on March 16, 2026. She will be joyfully reunited with her husband of 68 years, Leon, and numerous family and close friends who have preceded her.

Mary was born on July 14, 1930, Glade, Ark. She was one of 11 children. Mary was introduced to the love of her life, Leon Haden, when she was 16. They were married on Oct. 16, 1949, and enjoyed a loving life together, raising their four children, and traveling the country in their beloved motor home and on trips overseas during retirement.

Survivors include son, Don (Conni); daughter, Debbie; son, Dennis (Pennie); son, David (Stephanie); brothers, Bill and Pete (Carla); and sister, Pat. Their union was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon; parents, Frank and Sarah Stoll; son, Daryl Lynn; and grandson, Matthew David. Eight of her 11 siblings also preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Cheney Pioneer Cemetery Fund or The Cheney Trinity United Christian Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 23, at Wulf-Ast Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, at Trinity United Christian Church, 416 Washington St., Cheney. Interment will follow in the Pioneer Cemetery.
