Gregory Harold Lange
Gregory Harold Lange, age 75, of Conway Springs, passed away on April 16, 2026, at Ascension Via Christi-Wichita after complications related to pancreatitis.
Greg was born on May 21, 1950, at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, to Harold Lange and Elaine (Mathis) Lange. He graduated from Conway Springs High School with the class of 1968 before attending Kansas University.
Greg was united in marriage to Theresa Lewis on Dec. 28, 1971. Though their paths later diverged, their union brought forth a family that remained central to Greg’s life. A lifelong farmer at heart, Greg spent his working years in agriculture – as a farmer, retail agriculture business operator, and later as a salesman. He was deeply knowledgeable about the land and the agricultural community and valued honesty, hard work, and straightforward relationships.
Faith was a constant presence throughout Greg’s life. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway Springs, where his faith shaped his values, guided his conduct, and grounded his devotion to family and community. Greg will be remembered for his quiet strength, steady presence, and the pride he took in those he loved.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marilyn Novascone; and his brother-in-law, William J. Novascone.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Theresa Lange; his brothers, Stephen Lange (Karen) and Jeff Lange (Patti); his sons, Erik Lange (Tonia) and Aaron Lange (Robyn); eight grandchildren, Aspen, Alivia, Allyson, Bryson, Aaralyn, Tigean, Keldon, and Bryleigh Lange; and two great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Stetson.
