Ava Don (Emigh) McGeary, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Visitation with family will be 5-7 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at the First Christian Church, 524 Wood Ave., Clearwater.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne McGeary; parents, Lawrence and Vernie (Field) Emigh; and infant sister, Connie Emigh.

She is survived by her children, Devra McElroy of Clearwater, Diane Loger of Haysville, Karla Brockleman of Clearwater, and Sonya (John) Fleming of Augusta; grandchildren, Michael (Jodi), Jason (Joy), and Eric (Amanda) McBee, Nicole (Terry) Kimmel, Jessica (Bryon) Bega, Matthew (Ashlie) Brockleman, Melissa (Josh) Holle, Melanie (Lance) Curtis, Jimmy Hansen, and Tiffany Thompson; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 524 Wood Ave., Clearwater, KS 67026.
