Brenda Kay Pipkin, 75, of Cheney, died on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center after a battle with cancer. She was born March 5, 1949, in Hardtner, Kan., to Charles and Hazel (Warren) Kaminska.

She grew up on a farm east of Medicine Lodge and graduated from Medicine Lodge High School in 1967. She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and was a Medicine Lodge Baptist Church member. After high school, she enrolled in the school of cosmetology in Hutchinson, where she received her license in 1969. On Aug. 22, 1969, she married Ken Pipkin in Medicine Lodge. They settled down on a farm south of Cheney, KS. Brenda worked as a dental assistant for Dr. J. O. Tipps in Cheney and Dr. Richard Davis in Kingman.

Brenda enjoyed gardening flowers and vegetables. She was a fan of KU Athletics and Dale Earnhardt. She enjoyed watching all types of sporting events, especially those in which her children and grandchildren were active.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Ken Pipkin; sons, Chad Pipkin and Kyle (Megan) Pipkin, all of Cheney; granddaughters, Camdyn, Hadley, and Carter Pipkin, Cheney; brother, Brent Kaminska of Medicine Lodge; and nephew, Brandon Kaminska of Medicine Lodge.
