Cheryl Kay (Heitman) Kunkel, age 82, passed away on Monday, Aug. 11, 2025.

Visitation was 1-7 p.m., with family present 5:30-7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Webb Shinkle Mortuary, 200 S. Tracy, Clearwater.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the First Christian Church, 524 Wood Ave., Clearwater.

She was preceded in death by parents, Edgar and Ruth (Hukle) Heitman; twin sister, Carol Nickelson; and brother, Loyce Heitman.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Kunkel of Clearwater; son, Daryn (Marlisa) Kunkel of Peck; and grandchildren, Maggie and Ethan Kunkel.
