Daniel Dwayne Davis, 73, passed into eternal life on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025 at Harry Hynes Hospice, St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.

He was born to Ralph E. and Jeraldyne (Rosenhamer) Davis on Dec. 27, 1951, in Wichita. He grew up in Conway Springs, and worked as a machinist for Boeing/Spirit for 42 years before retiring.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Davis; brothers-in-laws, Jimmie Knee and Duane Boyd; step-grandson, Noah Smith; and nephew, Christopher Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Emily A. (Wolfe) Davis, Wichita; step-daughters, Jennifer Pajor of Omaha, Neb., and Sara (Matthew) Koochel of Wichita; siblings, Nancy (Chuck) Frazier, Don (Peggy) Davis, Marcia (Jim) Stuhlsatz, Daryl (Cindi) Davis, Grace (Kevin) Fisher, Richard (April) Davis and Deanna Knee; sisters-in-laws, Virginia Boyd and Susie Davis; five step-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Pauline Wolfe of Dodge City; and many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m., held at Affinity All Faiths Mortuary, 2850 S. Seneca, Wichita. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 Monday, Aug. 18, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2801 S. Seneca, Wichita, with burial at Resurrection Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
