Donna J. Bostic
Donna J. Bostic, 92 of Milton, died Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at her residence.
Donna Joan (Thornbro) Bostic was born on Sept. 12, 1933, on the family farm near Milton, to Victor Clark Thornbro and Guelda Vivian (Kayser) Thornbro. She grew up in the Milton community and attended the Milton schools. She graduated from Milton High School with the class of 1952. Following graduation, Donna began working at Boeing Aircraft, where she met Hugh Edward Bostic.
The two were united in marriage on Sept. 2, 1956 at Milton. They made their first home in Haysville before moving back to the Milton community, where they raised their two sons.
Donna and Hugh owned and operated the service station at Suppesville for 6-1/2 years, near Milton. Donna had also worked in the café at USD 331 in Norwich. Hugh passed away on May 2, 2010.
Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church, Milton. She was also a past worthy matron of Asenath Chapter #430 O.E.S., and a member of Daughter’s of the American Revolution.
Donna is survived by two sons, Gary Bostic and his wife Terri of Gardner, Kan., and Lloyd Bostic of Milton; one sister, Neva Brown of Snoqualmie, Wash.; two grandchildren, Katharine and William Bostic and his wife Kara; two great-grandchildren, Sullivan and Violet Bostic; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 16, at the First Baptist Church, Milton, with Pastor Mike Justice officiating. Interment was in Eden Cemetery, Milton.
