Farrel R. Lange
Farrel R. Lange, 62, of Conway Springs, passed away, Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, at his home north of Conway Springs.
Farrel was born March 13, 1963 in Wichita to Fredrick Joseph Lange and Addie Valetta (Cline) Lange. He grew up in the Conway Springs community, where he attended St. Joseph Catholic School and Conway Springs public schools. He graduated from Conway Springs High School with the class of 1982.
Farrel was united in marriage to Alicia May (Wise) on March 31, 2007, at Clonmel. They made their home north of Conway Springs.
In addition to farming, Farrel had worked for his brothers, Fred and Roger, in their family excavating business known as Lange Brothers. He also had worked for Doll Trucking, AMPI and for the local townships throughout the years.
Farrel was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Conway Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Linda Steffens; one brother, Fred Lange, Jr., and his wife Nancy; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Silvers.
He is survived by his wife, Alicia Lange; one son, Tad (Ashley) Lange of Blackwell, Okla.; two brothers, Roger Lange of Wichita, and Royce (Sandy) Lange of Conway Springs; two sisters, Lucretia Silvers of Wichita, and Ronda (Jack) Dalbom of Viola; brother-in-law, Dave Steffens of Sanford, Fla.; three grandchildren, Audi, Lakota and Addie; and a number of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Conway Springs. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, also at the church. Interment followed in Conway Springs Cemetery, Conway Springs.
