Gary Whitney, age 73, owner of Gary’s Automotive and Clearwater Classics, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Clearwater Community Church 450 N. 4th St.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Freida (Orrell) Whitney, and brothers, Joe Whitney and Curtis Whitney.

His is survived by loving wife, Donna (Roedell) Whitney of Clearwater; children, Jennie (Shane) Beavers of Topeka, and Justin Whitney and Tamara Fisher both of Clearwater; grandchildren, Tyler and Lauren Beavers, Luke Whitney, and Jaeden, Trent, Taryne and Tanner Fisher; and siblings, Jimmy (Linda) Whitney of Clearwater, Sharon (Chris) Middendorf of Mulvane, and Mickey (Jack Wilson) Whitney of Wichita.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clearwater Community Church 450 N. 4th St, Clearwater, KS 67026.
