Kristopher Michael Shogren, 46, of Wichita, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

He was born Oct. 8, 1976, the son of Michael and Deborah (Sullard) Shogren. He was a devoted father to three amazing boys. Kris had a larger than life personality, and everyone who met him loved him. Always joking, laughing, and picking on his little sister, even into adulthood. He was the king of dad jokes and telling new riddles he learned to his children, and anyone else who would listen.

Survivors include his wife Ashlea Nafziger Shogren of Wichita; sons, Milan of Jacksonville, Fla., and Harrison and Liam of Wichita; parents, Mike and Debbie of Wichita; sister, Jill of Wichita; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial service will be determined at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please do as Kris would do, help those that need it – reach out to those that are less fortunate, be kind to strangers, and laugh with your whole chest.
