Milton Blocker
Milton Blocker, 98, of Haven, died Oct. 29, 2024, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was born Dec. 12, 1925, in Haven to Emil and Lillian (Dierks) Blocker.
Milton graduated from Haven High School in 1942. He joined the United States Army in 1946 and served in World War II. Milton dedicated his life to farming.
Milton is survived by his wife, Ruth Blocker, of Haven; children, John (Susan) Blocker of Haven, Priscilla (Gary) Villines of Bel Aire, Phillip (Lydia) Blocker of Wichita, and Lois Kincaid of Wichita; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy Blocker, Margaret Rohlman, and Mildred Hays; brother, Earl Blocker; and son-in-law, Keith Kincaid.
Graveside service was 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, 35100 W. Harry, Cheney, with military honors conducted by Ft. Riley Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
