Patsy J. Holder, 92 of Milton, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at Patterson Health Center, Anthony.

Patsy Jane (Brewer) Holder was born May 18, 1932, at Milton to Howard Edward Brewer and Eva Grace (Rowan) Brewer. Pat, as she was affectionately known, grew up in the Milton community and attended the Milton public schools. She graduated from Milton High School in 1950 and continued her education by attending business college in Wichita.

Pat was united in marriage to Fredrick Roger “Fritz” Holder, Jr., on Sept. 20, 1953, at the First Baptist Church in Wichita. They made their first home in Wichita before returning to the Milton community in 1954, where they raised their family of three children.

Pat began working for Hiebert Insurance in Wichita. In addition to assisting Fritz on the farm, she began a career at the Farmers’ State Bank (later Conway Bank) in Norwich, where she retired as a bank vice president after 50 years. She and Fritz celebrated their 50-year wedding anniversary in 2003. Fritz passed away on Nov. 18, 2006.

Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church, Milton, and also enjoyed participating in a local book club.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Roger Dale Holder; and two grandchildren, Kacy Layne Fieser and Skylar Brandonn Fieser.

Pat is survived by two daughters, Cathy Oller and husband John of Arkansas City, and Nancy Hubble of Norwich; two step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at First Baptist Church, Milton, with Pastor Mike Justice officiating. Interment followed in Eden Cemetery, Milton.
