Paul “Buck” Leis, 61, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of good stories, hard work, and a circle of friends who will never forget him. He never met a stranger and will be remembered for his big heart. He had a variety of trades, with the most recent being a Pro Desk Associate.
Rosary will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, and funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m., both at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. A private family burial service will be held at a later date.
Paul is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Leis.  He is survived by his wife, Victoria “Vickie” Leis; his father, David Leis; his brother, Darin (Brenda) Leis; sisters, LuAnn (Gary) Sauber and Laura Leis; nephews, Thomas (Jessica) Sauber and Ethan Leis; niece, Abby Sauber; and two great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association-Research, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
