Peggy Joyce Brown, 91, passed away on Jan. 4, 2024. She was born to Roy and Aleda Brown on Oct. 4, 1932, in Wichita.

Peggy married Robert C. Brown in June 1952 and together they had five children, Clifton, Pamalee, Clayton, Kenton and Kirk. Peggy attended Bethel College where she studied nursing, which lent to her interest in many kinds of alternative healthcare. Peggy also enjoyed studying genealogy.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Aleda Brown; husband, Robert Calvin Brown; son, Kirk Ronald Brown; brother, Ronald Lee Brown; and infant brother, Roygean Lee Brown.

She is survived by her children, Clifton Wade Brown, Pamalee Joyce Brown (Garth), Clayton Wayne Brown, and Kenton Robert Brown (Ceresa); daughter-in-law, Melody Brown; grandchildren, Doug, Dacia, Perri, Paige Theo, Molly, Adam, Airika, Ashton, Ian, Philip, Bethany, Breann, Matthew, and Karissa; and great-grandchildren, Fletcher, Nathan, Hudson, Cooper, Benjamin, Samuel, Libby, Baylee and Lawson.

In lieu of flowers, Peggy would like memorial contributions to be given to First United Methodist, 330 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67202, or Trinity United Christian Church, 416 Washington St., Cheney, KS 67025.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the Wulf-Ast Mortuary Chapel, 911 Biermann, Garden Plain.
