Rose M. Kunselman, 74, of Milton, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at her brother’s home in Andover.

Rose was born Oct. 6, 1950, in Wichita to Richard Leroy Siegrist and Kathryn Marie (Hurlburt) Siegrist. She grew up in Rose Hill, where she attended Rose Hill public schools. She graduated from Rose Hill High School with the class of 1968, before continuing her education attending cosmetology school.

Rose was united in marriage to Jerry Kunselman on March 1, 1976 at Wichita. They made their home in Wichita until moving to Milton in 1978. Rose worked as a hairdresser in Rose Hill, Wichita and Argonia. She retired in 2006.

Rose was a member of the Argonia Friends Church, Argonia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Ronald Siegrist.

Rose is survived by her husband, Jerry Kunselman; one step-daughter, Sherri Kunselman of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Richard Siegrist of Rose Hill; one sister, Rita Hilding of Rosharon, Texas; two step-grandchildren, Alana and Jordan; and a number of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Argonia Friends Church, Argonia, with Pastor Eric Linville officiating.
