Rowena M. Wilson, 90, of Wichita, died Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

She was born Aug. 15, 1932 at Gaylord, Kan., to the Rev. and Mrs. George Merkey. She leaves behind her husband of 70 years, Robert L. Wilson, M.D. Other survivors include one son, Kevin (Jayne) Wilson of Winfield; one daughter, Karla (Jim) Perrine of Park City; one sister, Arlene Merkey of Wichita; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

Rowena felt richly blessed by God, her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, at First Church of the Brethren, 1103 N. Jefferson, Wichita. Committal service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Conway Springs Cemetery, (Second Addition) Conway Springs.
