Ryan Dean Holley, 58, of Cheney, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, in Cheney. Ryan was born at home on the family farm in Cheney on July 30, 1967, to Gary and Irene (Ruebke) Holley.

Ryan attended Cheney schools and graduated in 1986. He worked for Spurrier/Sebits farms for more than 20 years. He also worked for the City of Garden Plain, Farmers Coop, Garden Plain School District, Goddard School District, and for the past 10 years with the Cheney School District. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Holley and older brother, Randal Holley. Ryan is survived by his mother, Irene; brother, Russell; sister, Renae, of Cheney; and nephews, Derek and Dylan Van Lanen.

Memorial donations may be sent to Cheney Middle School/Cheney High School USD 268.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at Wulf-Ast Mortuary, 911 Biermann, Garden Plain. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Cheney Methodist Church, 406 W. 3rd, Cheney.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Cheney.
