I will be voting “no.” The reason why I think as a member of the Kanza Coop and Farmers Coop is that Kanza is taking advantage of Farmers Coop Elevator Company stockholders by not telling the whole story.

Billionaires get rare rebuke from KC voters

Random Thoughts Two weeks ago, Kansas City voters did something that rarely happens – they told a billionaire “no.” Actually, the voters in Jackson County, Mo., – which includes Kansas City, Mo., and other cities like Blue Springs, Independence, Lee's Summit and Raytown – said “no” to a pair of billionaires, Kansas City Chiefs' primary owner Clark Hunt, and Royals' primary owner John Sherman. Nearly six out of every 10 voters voted against a proposal to extend the existing 3/8-cent sales tax that helps fund the Truman Sports Complex where the teams play at Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium.
