Marvin J. Schauf, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026. A retired SKTC Telephone technician, he served for more than 50 years as a member of the Clearwater Fire Department, with 25 of those years as the fire chief. He had a passion for camping and fishing with family and friends.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, and funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, both at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Clonmel.

He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Schauf; parents, Albert and Irene Schauf; and siblings, Joan Wise, Harold Schauf, Ivan Schauf, and David Schauf.

He is survived by his children, Sherry (Hank) Pate and Donald (Janet) Schauf, both of Clearwater; grandchildren, Danielle (Nick) Pierce, Mackenna (Shane) Rhodes, Nicholas Schauf, and Zachary Schauf; great-grandchildren, Sage and Jade Rhodes, Sterling Pierce; and siblings, Mary Talbert and Carl Schauf, both of Haysville.
