Last week Monday turned into a mild evening for most folks in our area. The all-day run-up to Monday night, combined with information released throughout the previous weekend, led to little in the way of storms and damage in our area.

To the Editor, The dust has settled on the 2024 Kansas Legislative session and one thing is clear. Republicans did not get the message that Kansans agree a women’s decision about her health care is between them and their families, not the government.

To the Editor, This letter is about the merger of Kanza Cooperative and Farmers Cooperative Elevator Company. I will be voting “no.” The reason why I think as a member of the Kanza Coop and Farmers Coop is that Kanza is taking advantage of Farmers Coop Elevator Company stockholders by not telling the whole story.
