Staff report TSnews HAYSVILLE – A Sedgwick County Sheriff 's Office recruit was arrested on July 23 by Haysville Police. According to information from the sheriff 's department, recruit deputy Brandon Fox was arrested while off-duty on suspicion of domestic battery and assault.

CS Council discusses code enforcement

TSnews CONWAY SPRINGS – City Council members discussed code enforcement issues at their meeting last week, and ways to help the situation in Conway Springs in the interim. During a report by the city's new Land Bank Committee, the council was asked if the city could provide more enforcement of city codes.

Clearwater holds off on AYSO fee decision

TSnews CLEARWATER – During its meeting July 23, the Clearwater City Council discussed whether to apply its new fee schedule for use of the sports complex to the AYSO youth soccer organization during the 2024-2025 activity year. AYSO had already started to advertise its programs and fees without knowing about the newly formalized fees for using the sports complex, so council members agreed that some sort of consideration for the youth sports organization was in order.
