1954 Harry Ellwood Longbine of Anthony was freed of the charges of negligent homicide and fourth-degree manslaughter when a jury verdict of not guilty was returned in Sumner County District Court. Longbine was being tried as a result of an automobile collision on U.S.

TSnews HAYSVILLE – As quickly as one coffee company announced its closing, another one has taken over the spot. Last Friday, an online announcement was made notifying coffee drinkers that Buffalo Brew Coffee Company's Haysville's location had closed.

CONWAY SPRINGS – Starting last December, Conway Springs High School art students are competing with each other monthly. Two winners are chosen, one by staff members at CSHS, and one by the art students.

ARGONIA – It's homecoming week at Argonia schools. The Argonia Raiders take on the Flinthills Mustangs this Friday, starting with girls varsity at 6 p.m., followed by boys varsity.

TSnews GODDARD – New dedicated turn lanes at 183rd Street West and US54 Highway took another step closer to reality at Monday’s Goddard City Council meeting. The council approved a contract with TranSystems for field services for the project in the amount of $96,888.69.
