Body Sedgwick County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an injury accident that resulted in a fatality last Sunday near Cheney Lake. The accident happened at the intersection of 21st Street North and 391st Street West.

Body CONWAY SPRINGS – Following a whirlwind of recent resignations, the Conway Springs City Council now has two vacant seats that will need to be filled. The council met last Tuesday for a regular meeting, and prior to that meeting, Daryle Smith resigned as the mayor of Conway Springs.

Body GODDARD – City leaders in Goddard have dropped plans to pave Hawkins Lane, the road to the entrance of Tanganyika Wildlife Park. A proposed plan would have paved Hawkins Lane, which currently is a dirt road connecting Maple Street to the entrance of the park.
