Memorial Day remembrance.

HAYSVILLE – Susan Armstrong, a longtime advertising executive and Haysville resident, has turned a page in her career. Armstrong is the author of a new book, “Doomed by Blooms, described as a cozy mystery style.

Honoring those at rest.

CLEARWATER – A head-on crash between two vehicles has claimed the life of Clearwater City Council member Tex Titterington. The crash occurred around 6:15 p.m.

With the end of the 2022-23 school year, Conway Springs Middle School has released the names of the honor roll students for the fourth quarter of the year. Students were named either to the honor roll or were named honorable mention.

Kansas State Research and Extension will hold a tractor safety class for 14and 15-year-olds. The class will start at 8:30 a.m.

CHENEY – After a period of uncertainty in recent years, there's a “lot going on” at Souders Historical Farm Museum west of Cheney these days.

GODDARD – Members of the Goddard Chamber of Commerce met on May 11 at Pathway Church, and took a look ahead at happenings planned for the summer. The Goddard Public Library was on the agenda as May's guest speaker.
