Marian L. “Squeek” (Russell) Johnson, age 92, of Clearwater, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023.

Visitation will be noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 20, with family present, 5-7 p.m. at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel, Clearwater. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 21, at Norwich Baptist Church in Norwich.

Marian was born on Aug. 19, 1930, in Kingman. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Eugene Johnson on June 19, 1949, in Norwich.

Richard Bloomer, age 86, of Clearwater, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023.
Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, July 23, with family present from 2-4 p.m. at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 23, funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, July 24, both at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Schulte.
Richard was born Aug. 16, 1936 in Hutchinson. Richard married his high school sweetheart, Jane F. Kountz, on Jan. 26, 1957, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Hutchinson.

Rowena M. Wilson

Rowena M. Wilson, 90, of Wichita, died Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

She was born Aug. 15, 1932 at Gaylord, Kan., to the Rev. and Mrs. George Merkey. She leaves behind her husband of 70 years, Robert L. Wilson, M.D. Other survivors include one son, Kevin (Jayne) Wilson of Winfield; one daughter, Karla (Jim) Perrine of Park City; one sister, Arlene Merkey of Wichita; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

James J. Harmon

James J. Harmon, 87, of Cheney, died July 4, 2023, at the Cheney Golden Age Home.
He was born Oct. 28, 1935, at Brenham, Kan., the son of James M. and Wilma Kendall Harmon. A longtime resident of the Cheney community, he was a retired farmer and mathematics teacher. James was a member of the Cheney Methodist Church.

Ronald Dean Hall, of Eureka, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2023, at Greenwood County Hospital, in Eureka, at the age of 87. 
He was born on April 17, 1936, in Wichita, the son of John Bright Hall and Donna Delores Bond. He grew up and lived in rural Greenwood County before moving to Garden Plain for 17 years, where he was a rancher.
On July 6, 1956, he married his sweetheart, Vivetta June Wade. To this union four children were born: three daughters, Debbie, Marilyn, and Rhonda; and one son, John.

Ted John Martin, 81, farmer and rancher, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise. Ted is survived by his children, Linda (Greg) Bayless, Patrick (Lori) Martin, Dale (Kim Zindel) Martin, and James (Lorrie) Martin; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, and the funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 17, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ost.
