TSnews “Kansas Is Beautiful.” That’s the title of the new self-published book from Goddard photographer Mickey Shannon, but it’s also a belief about the Sunflower State. Shannon has been working on his nature photography book since around 2015, and has been a professional photographer since 2007.

CLEARWATER – About 5-1/2 years ago, Samantha Warkins and her family moved to Clearwater from Haysville. It did not take long for Warkins to become involved in her new hometown.

HAYSVILLE – After 36 years of coaching and teaching, including the last nine years at Campus High School as the Colts’ boys head basketball coach, Chris Davis is retiring. The announcement came out last week, when 8-year assistant Zac Kliewer was named as the new Colts’ head coach.

CLEARWATER – Imagine peoples’ surprised looks on Easter weekend when they thought for just a moment that they had stumbled upon the Easter Bunny in downtown Clearwater. What they had found was Rosie, a Flemish Giant rabbit.

GODDARD – A downtown coffee business is set to re-open in Goddard. Cofellow Coffee Parlor has announced a soft launch on May 1.
