CHENEY – Members of the Cheney Chamber of Commerce met for their regular monthly meeting last week, and continued working on plans for the Chamber’s annual soup and chili cook- off.

GODDARD – It is a busy time at the Goddard Chamber of Commerce. The organization will be hosting the Goddard Fall Festival on the first weekend of October, including a concert by country music star John Michael Montgomery.

Members of the band Dear Friends perform on Stage 5 at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield this past week. Members of the band hail from Conway Springs and Clearwater, and have been playing together for many years.

TSnews CONWAY SPRINGS – Conway Springs High School is ready for fall homecoming on Friday, Sept. 22.

TSnews CLEARWATER – Clearwater High School unveiled this year’s homecoming candidates. This year’s queen candidates are Elizabeth Tjaden, Harley Coen, Allison Clevenger and Izzy Buchman.
