Store owners Clint and Jenny Osner showcased the store for the senator, and talked about the importance of having healthy food access in rural America. Meredith Evans, the five-year-old son of Dr. and Mrs. E.A. Evans, was seriously injured last Friday morning. Dr. and Mrs. Evans left for Colorado Wednesday and their two little boys, Farris and Meredith, were taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Baker while their parents were away.

The Campus High School Marching Band- 152 musicians strong- opens its season during halftime of the Colts football home opener, Friday versus Ark City. Unlike many high school marching bands, the Campus band performs a different halftime show for every home game. The group prepared with an intensive band camp, held July 31 through Aug 4.
