USD 359 BOE minutes

Following are the unof- ficial minutes of the March 13 meeting of the USD 359 Argonia Board of Education. The minutes will be adopted at the next regular meeting, and are subject to change prior to adoption.

USD 356 BOE Agenda

The USD 356 Conway Springs Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the district office.

A $1 billion issue

The Kansas House this week passed a wide-ranging package that provides roughly $500 million to taxpayers a year. The plan received bipartisan support, mostly because it has a much smaller price tag than a handful of tax relief bills that recently passed the state Senate.

Bid approved for bridge repair over US 54

CHENEY – A west Sedgwick County bridge will undergo repairs, according to the March 2023 bids approved on March 22 by the Kansas Department of Transportation. This announcement of bids made on April 4.

Haysville Memories

6 Years Ago The Haysville Sun-Times and its sister newspapers brought home numerous awards from last weekend's Kansas Press Association Awards of Excellence, held in conjunction with the association's annual convention in Topeka. The Sun-Times won three-first place awards and a second-place award.
