Kansas Living When their border collie Tough was paralyzed from a traumatic spinal injury in 2015 while helping move cattle, Denny and Donna Ashcraft, ranchers in Jackson County, didn’t think she would recover.
Tough, pictured above, is a hard-working cattle dog and sheepherder. She was paralyzed for almost three weeks following a spinal injury suffered while moving cattle. She worked her way back, and recently was named the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Dog of the Year. Kansas Living

Frosting Directions

Add the blackberries to a blender or food processor and process until they are smooth. Pour the berries into a fine-mesh sieve over a small saucepan, and stir them around, pressing the mixture to get as much out of the berries and into the pan as you can.
