A $4.5 million project to replace the 151st Street West bridge over the Ninnescah River near Clearwater will begin Monday, closing all lanes of traffic on the bridge through the summer of 2024. The 151st Street bridge is 620 feet long and was built in 1955.

HAYSVILLE – A 1-percent sales tax in Haysville that has helped fund street maintenance repairs and park improvements for a decade will end because of one vote. The 1-percent sales tax will sunset at the end of the year after the renewal of the sales tax failed by a single vote, 473 against and 472 in favor.
