Body A newly formed group of Kansas State University education majors from rural communities is taking the bull by the horns and addressing teacher supply by encouraging students from rural areas to return home after graduation and others to consider teaching in a rural district.

Body Son rescued near Ark City GODDARD – A Goddard woman drowned at Grouse Creek and her son was rescued and hospitalized last Saturday.

Body ARGONIA – Wheatland Electric Cooperative, Inc. (WEC) has announced that Maya Jones, a senior at Argonia High School, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship on April 24 at WEC’s annual meeting in Great Bend.
