I was listening to a podcast this week about a scammer who managed to get millions of dollars out of his marks by pretending to be a Saudi Arabian prince. In one case, he was found out because he ordered a dish with pancetta in it at a restaurant, and since his dining companion knew a devout Muslim would never eat pork, he started becoming suspicious.

10 Years Ago Cheney Native Jerry Kill has a knack for fixing things that are broken. He was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in honor of the football program he rejuvenated as head coach between 2001 and 2007.

Campus High to crown royals on Friday night

HAYSVILLE – The Campus High School winter homecoming celebration will reach its pinnacle on Friday night, as the homecoming king and queen are crowned. This year's event has a Pixar Theme, with each class adopting different animated movies.
