EHS students named national merit semifinalists

GODDARD – Officials of National Merit Scholarship Corporation have announced the names of more than 16,000 semifinalists in the 70th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Three students at Eisenhower High School were among the students recognized nationwide.

7 Years Ago Campus High School graduate Marissa Sullivan spoke up after students disrupted a Kansas State University pre-game football ritual Saturday. When students started a vulgar chant, the K-State marching band stopped playing, in the middle of the “Wabash Cannonball.” Once the music stopped, a video board in the football stadium played a pre-recorded message from head football coach Bill Snyder, asking students not to use the chant in the future.
