CSMS scholar’s bowl begins season

CONWAY SPRINGS – The Central Plains Middle School League scholar’s bowl season begins this coming week. The league is using the schedule begun a couple of years ago with the five matches being held in the span of two weeks.

Conway Springs continues talk on disc golf course

Kunze car to make public debut

TSnews The 1966 Pontiac GTO known as the Kunze Car will make its public debut at the Cars For Charities Rod and Custom Car Show, Jan. 20-21 at Century II in Wichita.

Work on Hammers Park in Clearwater moving quickly

CLEARWATAR – A nearly 30-acre tract of land on the north edge of Clearwater dating back to the Osage Indians is being prepared to live on as a lasting monument to the Kansas Prairie. That tract of land was donated to the City of Clearwater early last year by Bill and Beverly Hammers and their family members.

Doggie daycare hit by car reopens

GODDARD – The new year saw the return of A Doggie Boutique, a grooming, doggie daycare and boarding facility in Goddard. Getting back open was a long road for owner Robin Benson and her staff.

CSMS names honor roll students

CONWAY SPRINGS – Honor students at Conway Springs Middle School have been named for the first semester of the 202324 school year. The list includes students in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades.
